Julian shares with us where his design ideas come from, his working relationship with Vital Lacerda, and the long journey to get his latest game, Pampero, playtested and published. In this episode Dan and Mike are joined by Amy and Maggie from Thinker Themer for a recap of GenCon 2022. Mike, Amy and Maggie share their convention highlights and detail all of the amazing games that we need to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

While Sarah hosts the episode, Jules and Adrian are snuggling together at Adrian's house. The crew discuss Jules' holiday and the resulting gaming bonanza with Adrian and Def over the past week. Meanwhile in Sizzling Games, Sarah is hand-making and trick-taking, Jules has been avoiding fails and blazing trails and Adrian is defying odds and moving Gods.

Meanwhile in Sizzling Games, Sarah has been running out of patients (see what I did there?), Conor has been creating chaos in a collectable card-game, and Def has been taking tribes to task.

Join Mike, Jules and Conor as they discuss dexterity games, playing games with Thinker Themer, and taking on the forces of evil (completely unrelated to Amy and Maggie from Thinker Themer). Meanwhile when it comes to Sizzling Games, Mike has been making montages with meaningless momentos, Conor has been creating castles and controlling the countryside, and Jules has been winning wisdom with worldly Witches (again, not Amy and Maggie...)
