On this episode Adrian, Mitch and Conor wax philosophical with the best pieces of advice that they have ever received, Mitch investigates Schnitzel-gate at the Castle Hill RSL, Conor wrestles with the dilemma of having too many games, and Adrian picks a fight with Mitch over his scathing Batman Returns review. But don't worry - amongst all of this there is still plenty of table top talk.

Matt shares with us where his inspiration comes from, his differing approaches to designing Solo and multiplayer games, and the team hypothesise what the next Australian myths might feature in Matt's next game...

Games and Wasps and Blips, Oh My!
On this episode Adrian and Sarah continue Oceania Month with two Australian designers: Kenny Michael-Otton and Leigh Perrott. Surprisingly the pair have similar backgrounds in playing board games as kids, and also being heavily involved in competitive gaming which set them on the path of the designing games. Kenny and Leigh share the inspiration behind their games, as well as their approach to creating a specific gaming experience for players.

On this special episode Mitch, Mike, Dan and Conor kick off Oceania Month with the designer of the much-loved Hadrian's Wall: Bobby Hill. Bobby shares with us what games helped inspire Hadrian's Wall, lets us into the clandestine goings-on of his gaming group, laments as he slowly evolves into his father, and lets us in on his next project!
In the Board Game Bracket we settle the last match-up, Wingspan vs Lords of Waterdeep, before we tee up the next battle: Viticulture vs Quacks of Quedlinburg. To make sure your favourite goes through to the next round make sure you vote on our socials.
Finally, in Swear An Oath Dan played Targi for the first time and loved it, but is still gearing up to the Under Falling Skies campaign. Mike got Clank in Space to the table and is now seriously wondering if he bothers keeping the original Clank! Conor played Imperial Settlers with Adrian, and also played Oath to mixed feelings from the group. Meanwhile Mitch is still mentally preparing to play Cerebria. On this special episode Adrian, Mitch and Sarah are joined by Ben and Adam from Motor City Games. Adrian is so excited to have the boys on the show that his internet spontaneously combusts! It's left to Mitch and Sarah to pick up the pieces and carry on with the show. Like a house with a fresh lick of paint we are back with a new intro and a new vibe. On this episode Jules, Adrian and Dan breakdown the week that was, including the massively successful Brisbane Game Day, a new Pandemic Legacy Season One spoilercast over on our Patreon channel, Oceania Month coming up in March, and we get involved in supporting the BarbeCURE Charity which raises awareness for Cure Cancer.
